Frequently asked questions.
How do I work with you?
If you are interested in working together, the first step is to reach out and schedule a free 15 to 20-minute consultation with me. During that call, I will ask you to describe a bit about yourself, what your life is like right now, what led you to reach out, and what you want to gain from therapy. You can also ask any questions you have of me. If we both feel we are a good fit, we can schedule our first session together. You will receive paperwork to fill our prior to our first session together.
If I do not feel we are a good fit, it is absolutely nothing personal, it simply means I believe you would benefit more from working with a different professional. If that is the case, I will provide you with referrals that I believe may be a better fit.
Are sessions in person or virtual?
Currently, I am mostly offering sessions through telehealth. I am in person on Thursdays in Old Colorado City in Colorado Springs.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance. I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company to try for out-of-network reimbursement. I highly recommend contacting your insurance company to find out your out-of-network benefits.
What is the cost of therapy?
A 50 to 55-minute therapy session is $225. This can be paid for using a debit card, credit card, or HSA card.
Do you offer sliding scale spots?
Yes, I offer sliding scale spots. There currently are available spots. Please inquire!
How do I check my Out-of-Network benefits?
